The V.I. system drew inspiration from the label stickers used within the store, where text lines automatically break to fit the width of the label. This concept was applied to the V.I. design, creating a variable system where text wraps according to the available space. The typeface used for the V.I. was aligned with the one featured on the labels to maintain consistency across the store’s visual identity. 

This adaptable V.I. system complements the museum shop’s diverse operations, which include handling a wide variety of items beyond books. Additionally, its flexibility harmonizes with the movable steel racks that shape the store’s modular spatial layout, contributing to a unified and distinctive brand image for the shop.
